Atlanta's Mastodon have canceled dates on their previously announced tour of Europe, as well as their appearance at Heavy Montreal Fest on Aug. 3. Citing "personal family matters," the band has announced that shows through Sep. 3 (Athens, Greece) will not take place. A show scheduled for Sep. 5 in Iceland has been rescheduled to Dec. 5.
