As per a recent social media post, Kicker have stated that they are currently in the studio recording new music. This will be the band's first recordings with Dave Mello of Operation Ivy. The band will debut some new songs live at their January 12 gig at the Ivy room in Albany, California. Kicker released Rendered Obsolete in 2016.
