Saturday, August 25 will be the Strummer Summer Jam 2018 at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC. The event pays tribute to Joe Strummer and is a benefit for the Joe Strummer foundation. Jesse Malin" and his band will be backing a variety of guests who will take the stage and cover Clash or Strummer solo material. Guests slated to appear include HR of Bad Brains, Tommy Stinson of The Replacements, Binky Griptite of The Dap-Kings, Suzi Gardner of L7, Cait O'Riordan of The Pogues, Drew Stone of Antidote, and many more.
