Blender's 100 Best Indie-Rock Albums Ever

Via an Anonymous Source, Posted by Ben Conoley 18 years ago

The latest issue of Blender features the magazine's take on the 100 greatest indie–rock albums of all time. Albums of note include Dead Kennedys' 1980 album Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables which finishes at 92. The Misfits' 1982 album Walk Among Us comes in at 83. Descendents landed the 68 spot with their 1982 album Milo Goes To College while Green Day's Kerplunk! broke the top 50 landing a spot at 47 with the magazine stating that

Billie Joe Armstrong brimmed with goobery brashness as the bristling, attention–deficient tunes gave Sex Pistols riffs a cocky Cali sheen.
