Rancid has released a track from their upcoming Hellcat album on their webpage. The track is called Disgruntled and, in this reviewers opinion, is like nothing I've heard from Rancid before. There is no trace of Ska at all, at least in the track, the Op Ivy influence is gone. Rancid has to be respected for their exploration of the punk spectrum. From the punk rock of "…And Out Come The Wolves", the ska on "Life Wont Wait", and this new hardcore direction, Rancid has tried it all. I am curious to see what the rest of the record sounds like.
