Noisey to release three part punk/hardcore documentary hosted by Tim Armstrong

Vice Records's Noisey has put together a three part documentary series called Under the Influence. Narrated by Tim Armstrong (Rancid, Operation Ivy, The Transplants), the series traces the roots of New York Hardcore, British 2-Tone Ska, and German Krautrock with conversations with the founders of the genres and current standard bearer

Participants include Walter Schreifels (Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand, Rival Schools), The Specials, Andy Gill (Gang of Four), Trash Talk, John Joseph of Cro-Mags, Neu!, Au Revoir Simone, Jeff and Spencer Tweedy of Wilco, Zachary Cole Smith (DIIV), Scott Winegard (Texas is the Reason).
