Corrosion Of Conformity Raleigh, NC's Corrosion Of Conformity has released a new video for the song "On Your Way." The track is from the long-running band's most recent album, lX , which was released this past July via Candlelight.

The band recently announced that it was planning to reunite with guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, who hasn't played with band since 2006, when they originally went on a four-year hiatus, sometime in 2015. Keenan has hardly been out of the public eye, however, playing guitar with Down as well as (unsuccessfully) auditioning for the bass position in Metallica, which ultimately went to former Suicidal Tendencies bassist Robert Trujillo.

Media: Stray Bullets: “Peace Signs”

Posted by brittany on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 5:00 PM (EDT)
Stray Bullets Boston, MA's Stray Bullets, featuring Jon Cauztik of Have Nots, are streaming a new song entitled "Peace Signs" from their forthcoming release Ghost Town Rockers. The song is inspired by Cauztik's views on how society and law enforcement treat street crime caused by the youth in communities.

Strong arm measures, while sometimes serving to get the numbers down, don't address the root of the problem. Maybe prevention, rather than suppression, should be examined as an alternative. Maybe the neighborhood pride, bravado, and need to belong that lead kids to turn towards ultimately destructive things like street gangs, and subsequently street violence, could be expressed and utilized in a more constructive way. "All the kids want something to do", as the old song goes, so let's give it to them. Let's empower the youth instead of sweeping them under the rug. Let's tell our local politicians to put that increased police budget towards accessible summer programs. Let's organize and mobilize BEFORE another kid gets shot, instead of having to hold a vigil afterwards.

Ghost Town Rockers is due out October 7, 2014 via Dying Scene Records. You can listen to the new song below.

"We shot this video during our tour pre-production day, which was also our first day with the lighting rig we used on tour, which you see in this video," explains guitarist Steve Choi. "Aside from a variety of other tasks and things that needed to be sorted, we decided to just throw in shooting a video because that's how it is when you're a band fighting for yourselves. So, with little money and little support we present to you this simple performance video and ourselves playing music the way you see it on stage. RX fights on."
