Dundas, Ontario garage-punk three piece The Dirty Nil have released a new set of cover songs for summer, appropriately dubbed Summer Mix-Tape Vol. 2: Covers. The set features the band's version The Misfits' "Last Caress," Iggy Pop's "Neighborhood Threat," Guided By Voices' "Game of Pricks," and Merle Haggard's "Mama Tried." The songs are available as a pay-what-you-want download at BandCamp and as a now-sold out cassette.

The band's also released a video for the song "Zombie Eyed" from their recent split with Northern Primative on IndoorShotes. You can check that out below.
