Hermosa Beach mural pays tribute to Black Flag, Descendents, Circle Jerks, Redd Kross, more
by John Gentile 5 years ago

Recently, the Hermosa Beach Mural Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to "beautifying the business district of Hermosa Beach through art," painted a mural saluting the area's punk history. Painrted by Daniel Inez, the two story mural is on the side of a parking garage and pays tribute to Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Descendents, Redd Kross, The Last, Pennywise, and a few others. It is located near the corner of 13th and Hermosa Avenue. This is the organization's eight mural and the official unveiling will be October 2 at 5:30pm.
