A Montreal-based self-described "free creative enterprise," Red Mass is lead by Roy Vucino and Hannah Lewis. The collective recently released a guest-packed full-length titled A Hopeless Noise on the psych label Mothland. It boasts several prominent appearances from the wider punk and indie rock world, including Minutemen legend Mike Watt, Evan Dando of The Lemonheads, the unmistakable Rick Froberg of Hot Snakes and Drive Like Jehu, Canadian indie star Mac DeMarco, and Hugo Mudie of The Sainte Catherines, among others.
Today, we bring to you a Punknews Exclusive Premiere for Chicago based indie band Mountain For Clouds. The band formed in 2016 and in a few year have been churning out rock songs with influences from the likes of Brian Fallon, Chuck Ragan and Jared Hart. The band will be releasing their new album, Solway Star through Homebound Records later this week, January 24th. New York-based emo band Oso Oso recently recorded a session with Punks In Vegas. Jade Lilitri performed 3 stripped down tracks from his latest effort, basking in the glow and one track from Real Stories Of True People, Who Kind Of Looked Like Monsters . Upstate NY aggressive punks Drug Church released a new single over at Flood Magazine. The track is called "Bliss Out" and it was recorded during their Cheer recording session. Drug Church will be heading out on tour to support Thrice's ’Vheissu’ shows and will be playing a few headline dates. See below to check out the new track.
Tabarnak, an Israeli punk band, has just released their 2nd album which loosely translates to Singing Tavern. The group, which features Ishay and Corey of Useless ID, as well as Matan of the Israeli punk band Betzefer, started as a Useless ID sideproject way back in 2005. The band, called Bo Labar at the time, started writing short, fun songs entirely in Hebrew and would post versions of the tunes online. In 2013, Bo Labar stopped playing and Ishay got sober. But as time passed, the band got back together and took on the name Tabarnak, but they stopped writing songs about partying.
Their newest release has 18 songs (all in Hebrew) in just over 30 minutes, "some smart, some dumb. Kind of like me," states Ishay.

Massachusetts punks Four Year Strong have announced they will be releasing a new album, "Brain Pain" out on February 28, 2020 through Pure Noise Records. They released two tracks from the upcoming album with the announcement, the title track "Brain Pain" and "Talking Myself in Circles", see below.

Lost Data Productions UK have released a new documentary on the influential, long-running UK punk act Discharge. Aptly titled Discharge - Legends of Punk Vol 1, the DVD/Blu Ray combo features interviews, live performances, and more.
The on again-off again Discharge, formed in 1977 but disbanded and reformed twice, have released seven studio LPs, include 2016's End of Days; along with countless singles, EPs, and demos.
As indicated by the title, Lost Data hopes to continue this series, featuring other legends of the the British punk scene. You can check out the trailer for the documentary below.
New Jersey ska punks Backyard Superheroes just released a Christmas EP, titled Let's Get Elfed Up just in time for the holiday season. The Ep contains 2 new tracks, "This Christmas" and "Coal In My Stocking". Proceeds to the sales of the EP through their Bandcamp page will be donated to Toys For Tots.
